Nordstrom Rack

Nordstrom rack gets major rep/props, as the place is simply outstanding. Quality clothes for a decent price. It really can't get better than that. Got some time today and went there with some friends and bought a couple shirts. English laundry has some legit style. Got lunch afterwards. Successful off day? I think so. In other news I've been hitting up LAF and have been trying to make it an everyday occurrence. It's going well so far.

New addiction = Full throttle. Can't seem to get enough of that stuff. It's the equivalent of coffee for me. Energy!

Downloaded Owl City's two albums. This stuff is pleasing. Reminiscent of a postal service/snowpatrol. New revolutionary pep.

Used up the majority of the money on the gascard I won from work. Rebate card is almost tapped. Sad tales considering that was my ticket to free gas. I Definitely didn't miss paying for gas.

Doing well in school. Got my first quiz/hw/misc grades back. Hoping for all A's this semester. Very do-able. Might drop a class I have on Thursday night though. All group relation and lots of projects. Too bad my group sucks. Might just wait till the one in the day rolls around, should be easier with my grade not depending on other people. That's always a bad situation. Too many things can go wrong.

Got a test tomorrow and Friday, but I feel really ready for both of them. Just putting nails in the coffin by studying.

News is getting crazy with talk of AIDS and cancer cures/vaccines. Weird stuff. Hopefully it works.

That's it. I better find some more interesting stuff to talk about eh?

Out.

Bringing It Back (B.I.B)

I'm bringing it back. Haven't been on here in awhile and haven't made a post in months. Figure this is a great time to start back up again. Summer was great, started early and ended late. Work, play and sleep, marred by the every weekend craziness made summer exciting. Birthday went off without a hitch. Can't wait for the next one.

School is going well. Should only be another year before I graduate (winter '10). : )

All about the Blueprint III, seems like everything I hear on this album hits me the right way. Young Forever being one of my favorite tracks in front of A Star is Born. The collaboration in the other tracks with Rhianna and Alicia Keys is fantastic. Definitely showcases talent in this album. Jay-Z always comes through and I've found myself listening to his other work; American Gangster in particular.

Maybach Music.

Breaking Rank is currently the book I'm reading. Retired police officer looks back on his experiences and comes up with progressive ideas and measures. Great memoir type of book. Uses his experience in practical explanation and defense of his ideas. I like it so far.

Fall is coming. Nice.

That's it for my return post! : )

ILL

Why can't people just be left alone to live? Being happy and enjoying life is what should happen. How about we make a beneficial clause to the whole immigration debate. If you benefit America, no matter what it is then you should be left the fuck alone. Make music. Be a surgeon. Pay your taxes, get some insurance and get on with your life. Of course our government has little regard for safety, privacy or freedom. Piles upon piles of paper work leave the people with the rubber stamps no choice. Denied. White vans with black ski masks? YOU ARE THE CRIMINALS. It seems that the home of the brave has turned into the home of the oppressed. Walking down the street just to get snatched up? What the hell? Let me enjoy my overpriced coffee beverage and read about all the fucked up shit you do. We are trapped in an every expanding population with a lot of useless bulk. 1 in 100 Americans are behind bars. The private sector has exploded and strives hard to lobby for a despicable cause. Lets make even more useless laws. Trap even more American people in a system full of murder, rape and unthinkable things. REAL CRIMINALS DESERVE THAT. MJ? WTF? AMERICA WAKE THE FUCK UP. Even better, deport the real criminals instead of hard working people. Sure if you don't pay your taxes you should get in trouble, but a 20k income? Geez. Living on wonderbread and spam and getting harassed by the government? Get the fuck out of my shower Big Brother. Seriously.

Realizing how many screwed up things in this world really gets to me. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, but plenty of people suffer on a daily basis. The wrongly convicted. The oppressed. The unrepresented. The sick. The unloved. There isn't much you can do when humans are inherently self serving. People disappearing? Without a clue as to where they have been taken? TOO MANY UNCERTAINTIES. Go out guns blazing. Never look back.

Just watched The Visitor. It definitely puts a human element to the whole immigration issue. We are all in this together.

We need to be united.

I understand that without all the rules and regulations nothing would get done. Something has to change.

Aliens come quicker so we can just be Earth.

Such a rant. Don't hate. I told you.

The Facts

Just got back from classes and such. Relatively uneventful day. Tuesday always seem to be the most relaxed day of the week. I like weather like this. Cloudy and windy yet not too cold. Perfect balcony weather. Studying for midterms has been a breeze. Haha. Get it! If you already know something it makes it pretty simple.

The baseball classic has been on pretty much all day. Doesn't get much better than that. Baseball lends itself perfectly for studying. Background noise. Essential. Really looking forward to spring break and all the glory that should accompany it. Gin off. That is going to be incredible. Got that swagger?

I hate how sometimes people just disappear from your life. Guess it happens though and there isn't much you can do to stop it. They'd be here now if they wanted right? Haha. That's how you get it done. Best friends sharing everything and every moment only to turn into a black bog-like cesspool. Wonder if they are thinking about you? Who knows. Then it turns into distant memories with faded emotions. Damn. Seems like that's how it goes tho'. People change. As soon as you figure out what you desire even that disappears into something else. CHANGE. LIFE. SAME THING.

That's enough. I'm not even sure what that was all about.

Keep it slick.

Flush

Haven't done much all day. Think all the hype about Alex Rodriquez is a little unnecessary. Just let him be. People don't plan on getting injured. Talk shit about the steroids if you want. Steroids? Seriously? It's a fucking professional sport. I'm sure that there are plenty of players who haven't used steroids. Hitting thirty home runs and a hundred runs batted in is no coincidence with his steroid use. It could be argued that it had a direct impact. Good player aside -- Steroids will have an impact on your performance.

The human race has been striving to improve our very lifestyle since way back when. Let us keep it in the epoch that writing was first established. So about seven thousand years ago. No would have said a damn thing if a soldier ingested some mystical vial and consequently got jacked. Unfair advantages are what it's all about. It is silly to attempt to make the playing field level when in reality humans are all different! Just leave it at that. Making it to the professional league is a big deal no matter what the sport. Being the best of the best in the pros means you definitely have what it takes. There can only be one first place. Get there however you want.

About to go get the studying done. Midterms look surprisingly easy this semester. Got one review with all the answers emailed to me. I think someone only meant to send it to one person. Oh well. Unfair advantage? Hahaha. Looking forward to spring break like a fiend. It is going to be supremely relaxing to be back home. Leather couch. Word. Might spend the first couple days just kickin' it at the apt tho'. Haven't quite decided. Depends on whats happenin'.

Gym Class Heroes and T.I. have really been doing it for me lately. I need to make a master play list. That could take ages.

Day 2/2 --- Hahaha.

Gotta' Keep it Poppin'.

So. I guess this my chance to make my thoughts known and such. Might as well get down to several things that have been on my mind lately. This is a realm to just spew forth random thoughts and if perchance you have a different outlook just remember to keep it real. That is more of a reminder to me more than to anyone else. Haha. So the last couple of nights have been pretty crazy. At least up til four for the majority of the weekend. Yeeeaaah. The last couple of months have been pretty surreal and real dreamlike. Gettin' closer to the real world. Word. Lets get it.

Still not really sure what I want to do with my life. I figure that'll come soon. I could be a poet. I think being an astronaut would be krunk. Maybe a zookeeper? I think the one thing I really want to do is make sure I at least have some individuality and say on my life. I hate how we have to pick which category and subsection we want society to place us in. Fuck that. In some twisted way wanting to be original is actually conforming to a whole set of values. Gah. Whatever. I like where I'm headed so far tho'. Got the best group which is extremely reinforcing. Keep that head up.

Denton is nice in the fact that it is separate from home and difficult in the fact that it is separate from home. I think I'm gettin' the whole hang of this though'. It's nice being able to control your life with simple yet beneficial things. Music is legit. Been fooling around with a beat mixer. Fruity loops. Made some good sounding stuff. Too bad you can't save in the demo version and you actually have to pay for an access code rather than actual software. Yiiiikkees.

I think I'm going to try to do one of these everyday. Maybe eventually I'll get some consistency in topic or theme. I highly doubt it tho'. So I guess that about does it for my first 'real' post. Purple emotion. wtf? I'm out.
